Uwe Biastoch, Director Market Analysis, Planning and Forecasting - Europe, is responsible for the commercial development of viable customer solutions from own business area and for developing synergies with other Polk areas to create powerful European customer solutions. The main task is to optimise the strategic direction of current Polk European software and data products and services, planning the commercial development of new and enhanced offerings, and managing the products’ lifecycle.
Uwe has held several positions within the Polk organisation over the past 15 years. He started by working as a consultant for forecast studies within the Automotive Studies sector at Polk Marketing Systems GmbH in Essen in 1991. Since 1994, he was Manager for the Automotive Forecasting Services. And from 2002-2006 he served as Product Manager driving the development of the latest forecast technology NewFor.
Uwe holds a diploma of economics (Diplom-Ökonom) of the Gerhard-Mercator-Universität Duisburg, with special degrees in Marketing, Market Research and Social Psychology.
