Joseph Walker is President of Polk Global Automotive. With responsibility for the team’s overall business objectives, policies and strategic plans, Walker heads a group of approximately 1,000 professionals who are at the forefront of providing premier automotive information and marketing solutions to help customers understand their market position, identify trends, build brand loyalty and gain a competitive advantage.

Walker’s professional career is built on more than 30 years of successful leadership in top level executive roles focused on overseeing new business development, capital investment, strategic alliances and quality management. He joined R. L. Polk & Co. after a 29-year tenure at Plunkett & Cooney, one of Michigan’s largest full-service law firms. At Plunkett & Cooney, he headed the organization as President and CEO (1992 – 1997) as well as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (1987 – 1992).

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit, School of Law.
